SUMMARY:The Pumpkin Kid - A New Musical
DESCRIPTION:An orphan boy with a wagon of misshapen pumpkins\, stops to visit his cranky neighbors; a surly blacksmith\, a disillusioned woodcarver\, and an ill-tempered\, yet grief-stricken tailor. Begrudgingly\, they each loan him a discarded tool\, an old saw\, a broken spoon and a twisted hat pin\, and with these\, he is able to create the most exquisite carvings. \nBut what magic is revealed when these pumpkins are illuminated from within? And how is it that the light is able to change and transform hearts\, even those that feel cracked\, ruined and beyond repair? \nFirst presented at the SoHo Playhouse in New York City\, 2023\, this toe-tapping musical fable comes to the Historic Elitch Theatre stage this October! \n\nGeneral admission tickets for the show only are $20. \nPumpkin carving tickets include a general admission ticket for the show and a special post-show pumpkin carving experience with the artists for $45.
